Once in a while it is important, almost imperative to dress up wearing a new outfit that we know we shouldn’t have splurged on, style our hair differently and dab on that gorgeous shade of lipstick that you wouldn’t normally wear on a day to day basis. But you’re only young once, and in 10 years time your body won’t be looking as fit and fine as it is currently. The sun is shining and it will continue to shine bright everyday and it makes you realise that life is to short to wear bland colours and clothing. It’s time to step out of your comfort zone and go out as though you are as fabulous and fashionable as Blake Lively or Olivia Palermo. Here are some of my favourite glam outfits that I’ve been wearing currently: Dress: Missguided Shoes: Betts Top: Sportsgirl Top: Dotti Jeans: Kookai Top: Glassons Jeans: Topshop Heels: Betts Have a beautiful day and stay glam xx

Winter OOTD | 13-14th Aug 2016

The endless winds, hazy dusty sky and torrential rain has finally come to an end here in Sydney where we are (FINALLY) greeted with bursts of sunshine, warmth and good vibes! I have put together two outfits that I have worn this weekend which are suitable for the winter-spring transition to share with all you lovely readers. Another quick update is that I have recently purchased a canon camera and I am so excited to create new projects on this blog as well as my Instagram page (linked to your right for daily updates) so stay tuned for that! I am a Summer baby (born in January) so summer clothes and styling are my forte so I cannot wait to start snapshotting my daily OOTD’s, beauty routine and everything else related to beauty, fashion and styling^_^ I hope you guys enjoy and below are the outfits I wore this weekend! 13/8/16 For Saturday’s look I was rocking the sporty vibe, and decided to go all out with the baseball hat, meshed jersey, leggings and sneakers …

My Bag & I

We’ve all heard of the saying ‘diamonds are a girl’s best friend’, but to me I think that our real inanimate best friends are our purses. We carry them everywhere we go, and in it they store everything from lifesaving essentials to bits and bobs that represent who we are as a person.

Monochromatic Pairings

Lately I’ve been obsessing with wearing a completed ‘set’ outfit or at least a closely matched outfit since, unfortunately (and lets be real here), who is able to afford a dozen of paired outfits which you can only really get away with wearing at least twice before you begin to look like a cartoon character by wearing the exact same MATCHED outfit every single day. I like to describe my style as minimalistic and chic with a burst of extravagance whether it be a funky pair of sneakers, a pop of colour on the lips or a rad (fake) septum piercing. So ‘set’ outfits definitely are in my agenda on how to style them to suit any occasion. Style 1. S&S (Sophisticated & Sexy) This outfit from Kookai is paired perfectly with its warm neutral tones of off whites and warm greys. One of my go-to outfits for any night-time event whether it be a formal dinner even (layered with an oversized coat or blazer) or a fun girl’s night out clubbing. Because of its …

Winter Must-Haves 2015

Winter has officially arrived in the land down under… And i’m already missing Summer ='( We are now halfway through with the year which is totally so surprising as reflecting on 2015 so far, it felt like last week where I was just beginning the first semester of uni. I was born in January so my disdain for the colder months of the year can be partly blamed towards me being a Summer baby. My tan is slowly but surely disappearing, the only physical remnants I have of the lovely adventures I had over the course of this Summer. Speaking of disappearing, my summer body I’ve attained has also decided to leave upon the arrival of Winter. However, despite having to wear layers of clothing and suffering the beauty of looking like Rudolph everytime I go out, I must admit, winter does come with cute clothes and trends. So here we have it, my current favourite winter essential and faves of 2015. 1. Oversized Coat This is pretty much as crucial as wearing sunscreen for the …

Vivid Sydney 2015

So last Friday my boyfriend and I headed to Vivid Sydney 2015 and all in all, it was simply breathtaking. We didn’t go to the main attraction at Circular Quay just because we knew that it would be brimming with people, but the real reason (and more importantly) was that we were too lazy to walk all the way to the other-side of the city since we were already 5 mins away from Darling Harbour. As soon as we arrived at the top of the stairs descending down the Harbour we were immediately taken aback. The wharf was transformed with these huge water features in the centre of the wharf that shone with brightly coloured lights that illuminated the water fountains, making it appear to be dancing to the rhythm of the music. In the background, stood the Novo Hotel and it too was ornamented with lights that dazzled to the beat of the music, an array of light and sound explosion. Although the night was windy, we were well prepared with our oversized coats …

Septum Jewellery Taking A Stand

I’m normally not one to be infatuated with piercings, tattoos or any shenanigans related to those sorts, but lately, Ive come across a lot of the whole septum piercing trend on social media, and kinda became obsessed… I must admit, when I first familiarised myself with septum piercings in the beginning of the year, i didn’t think much of it other than a silly trend that would soon disappear into the cyber world. However, this past month, i suddenly realised how effortlessly ‘cool’ and ‘edgy’ it looks. They’re the perfect accessory that adds that dimension of the mysterious girl you see on the bus, or the effortlessly chic girl in high school who you simultaneously daunted yet captivated by. Personally, i believe that anyone can pull this off, no matter what face shape, skin colour, or other physical feature you believe won’t match it…. BUT (in my personal opinion) you do need to have some degree of makeup. Just throwing it on and walking out the door will inadvertently make it seem like you a …

So i have returned

So I have returned… No I was not eaten alive by a swarm of bees, I just very guiltily neglected this blog for a while… ^_^ The last time I wrote was just before the mid semester break and now i am back and the semester is just about finished with one more class to go and 2 assignments to submit in 2 weeks :—) I VOW to add more effort into my blog and although i can make up excuses that i was preoccupied with uni, my job, my internship and balancing my social life (not really considering the only person i saw really was my bf), the bottom line is, i just wasn’t feeling motivated/inspired as to what to post. But after watching this interview of these two sisters who are self-employed fashionistas from Dubai, and listening to their work ethic and their success stories and how much luxury and opportunity they received as a result of their passion and consistency really was the kick that i so desperately needed. These past few …

MINKPINK Warehouse Haul

When I first decided to create my blog, I thought it would be more fashion/beauty focused. However, being lazy old me, i kept putting these types of posts off because I had to take photos, create outfits, change outfits, download them onto my laptop etc etc. But when I woke up today, I vowed to put my procrastination at bay and show you guys what I purchased yesterday at the MINKPINK warehouse sale at the Entertainment Centre at Moore park. The sale goes on for 3 more days and it was pretty full on. Clothes littered the floors and you couldn’t walk a few stops without stepping on a knitted cardigan or tripping over a halter top. Girls were getting changed behind racks and it all reminded me of a pe gym room; a bunch of girls giggling and chatting away loudly as they roamed around the hall. Here are the items I picked up yesterday 🙂 A MINKPINK halter top- $10 An EvilTwin top-$20 A Staple dress-$30

Models steal the runway

This past month, my infatuation with fashion and style has accumulated greatly, and I have a new renowned ‘energy’ that has made me more passionate and inspired with the fashion realm of glitz and glamour. In particular, my enthusiasm towards fashion runway shows and seasonal catwalks showcasing themes ranging from modern androgyny to 1950’s elegant and conservative styles are what have caught my interest and sparked my new founding flair in attuning to the beauty of the fashion design industry. My sudden captivity towards this phantasmagorical wilderness of clothing, jewellery and accessories broadcasting has also brought my attention to many models. In my opinion, a great runway model is a person who’s personality flairs within their stone glazed looks as they strut solemnly down the stage, revealing as much beauty and individual-ness as the attire they are representing. Here is a list of my all time favourite models who have captivated my attention and enthralled me through their charm and wit and hence highlighted the shows they were modelling in. 1.
