The ultimate essential for ANYONE no matter what season/climate or where you are in the world is a black leather jacket. I recently was at Zara the other day and spotted the perfect black glossy leather jacket that was perfectly fit (not cropped or oversized) with minimalistic silver detailings on the sleeves, pockets and collar. I’ve been on the lookout for the longest time for a good quality leather jacket that was the perfect fit and didn’t have too much going on. It was pure destiny that they only had one left in my size and for a jacket under $250, it was everything I’ve envisioned in purchasing a leather jacket. For today’s look I was super casual and minimalistic with a black and white outfit, where the highlight of my outfit was on my lips wearing a bright red Nars lipstick. You’ll be seeing a lot more versatile looks on how I style my leather jacket in the future xx I’ve also linked 5 very similar leather jackets UNDER $100! Check them out …
The best part about a night out with friends is the preparation bit, getting excited about what to wear, visualising exactly how you want your hair and makeup would look (not that it ever looks the same as how you envision it) and of course, those pre-going out selfies. If you want to go the extra mile and be super fancy, head to Hotel Palisade at Millers Point in Sydney, a gorgeous European styled building tucked away on a quiet street overlooking the whole of Sydney including views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. They serve delicious cocktails and gourmet finger foods such as lamb cutlets, grilled prawns and truffle fries. For a glammed up night club, you cannot go wrong at Marquee located in The Star Casino. If you buy the early bird tickets (before 11pm) you can grab a great deal of paying only $21. Outfit details: Dress: Kookai Heels: Tony Bianco You can purchase my look directly here 🙂 xx
Au revoir everyone! I’m writing this as I’m staring out my window overlooking the cool grey clouds enveloping the sky, casting a tinted haze amongst us Sydney-siders. One of my friends who’s originally from London used to marvel at how Sydney has ‘so much sky’ and even though I initially laughed and asked her what she meant, now looking at it, I can see why she would say that! This Saturday was another gloomy cloudy day, making me feel like I’ve transported to Paris or London. The up side however being it’s the perfect condition to sip on delicious coffee (I’m slowly becoming more and more addicted to soy mochas). Here’s my outfit post and a little visual diary of my weekend xx Shop this SIMILAR look here: Scarf: Cardigan: Boots: Bag:
Just a week in outfits of what I wore as the days turned colder, the skies greyer and the leaves more crisp. Click the photo below to start watching the short lookbook I pieced together. xx
This month was extremely eventful with the Easter break, my boyfriend’s birthday celebrations and of course the masses of uni assessments piling on top. April was definitely a month to remember and as per usual, it flew by so quickly and it’s becoming a harsher reality that the middle of the year is fast approaching. Here is a snapshot of a week in outfits from April in no particular order. The days are becoming shorter and nights are windier and duller and with the seasonal changes, it means that you cannot prepare what to wear the day before. Nevertheless, here are a few of my outfits this month. Top: Cotton On Bottoms: Boutique. As a wise man once said ‘don’t hustle the hustler’ (Lisa Rinna from the RHOBH).. It’s time to get back into the hustle & bustle of things and what better way to get back on the grind than to dress the part? I always believe that if you look good, then you’ll feel good which in turn puts you in the right mindset for the day to go out there and achieve what you want. Today’s outfit is all about elegance, comfort and chic-style. I’m heading to my radio internship and then off to run errands and pay some bills (I feel like such an adult saying that). Have a wonderful day and if you want to share your go to look leave it down below and I’ll be sure to reply xx
One of my favourite clothing items is my Lee denim skirt. It’s versatility makes it so easy for those last minute out of the door styling options. Today I’ve paired a nude cropped top with the classic denim skirt. To vamp up the look I added a gorgeous faded grey choker and paired it with Nikes for that effortless street style look. With exams and assessments heating up, this outfit is the perfect go to that requires little to no time to pair and is super comfy as you sit in the blasting cold lecture halls or typing vivaciously away for that end of semester report.
It’s a Friday morning and the sun is bursting through the cherry red curtains, prying its way eagerly with golden fingertips to reach the interiors of the house. Outside, the birds are chatting away as they soar overhead, ready to take on the day. It’s 7:25am and I am sitting here wide awake feeling somewhat inspired and motivated. Uni starts next month, my mum and brother return home from Shanghai China in 3 days and I just got a call from my manager at work asking if I could take the 10-6 shift. Life feels so normal, nothing significant is happening really yet at the same time, it feels so different. Every time i realise my age and that I’ve hit the big 20’s makes me jitter with nerves that I am already a fully fledged adult. yet, ironically I still feel like I’m 16 years old (minus the pimples, acne and devastating clothes style…i thought layering singlets were a cute summer choice…) Now as I type this, i look out my window to the …
