Celebrity street style | Gingham, Designer tees…

This week I am going to be sharing my favourite ‘celebrity inspired’ street-style looks that I have created. Normally, when choosing outfits or statement pieces, I don’t necessarily copy from head to toe a celebrity’s style down to the exact colour of socks they wear, I like to look at what’s been trending and gain inspiration from there.

In particular, gingham and statement tees have been popular all over social media from celebrities to IT bloggers sharing these trends online.

Here is my take on the trends and how EASY they are to incorporate to your own style:

Gingham

It’s what everyone has been obsessing over and what’s not to love about the black and white monochrome? It instantly gives off that classic but effortless look, perfect for any occasion. It’s also great for the Summer season and because of it’s minimal colours, gingham pairs well with almost anything!

Slogan Tees

Let’s face it, even though the Gucci printed tee is very cute and has been worn by almost every A-list celebrity, I don’t think I could ever justify paying $500 for a white tee with the designer name slashed in the centre. Luckily for us, a lot of clothing boutiques have caught onto this popular street-style trend and have incorporated similar and just as cute slogan tees. I purchased one from Australian boutique, Hello Molly of a white tee with the word ‘Merci’ printed at the front

. These tees are so versatile and can be worn with almost everything.

All Black

You can never go wrong with an all black outfit… they’re timeless and never goes out of season. My tip to prevent the ‘depressed or going to a funeral look?’ Add a statement jewellery piece such as a diamante choker or a coral red lipstick!
