How To Style: Statement Tees – Girl Power

Nothing feels more empowering than wearing a statement tee to, well…make a statement about something you feel passionate about! Last week I was on my way to uni and passed a small boutique that I hadn’t noticed before and on the very first clothing rack was an outfit that caught my attention. It was a printed tee with the words ‘Girl Power’ under cute gingham overalls and as soon as I spotted it, I knew I had to have it because of the many ways to style statement/graphic tees.

I have been obsessing over statement tees because they make a statement (literally) to your entire look and it is so easy to dress up and down and I love versatility in my clothes.

Because the weather is still pretty chilly if you’re not under the sun in Sydney so far, I paired it with simple black jeans and espadrilles because I wanted the top to do all the talking. But I’m very excited to style it in the warmer months with a skirt, overalls or tucked in shorts.
